Yesterday we celebrated the completion of our ARTventure Academy.
The children who participated in the program received a signed certificate by the Mayor of Indio, Michael Wilson, and walked away with a limited edition ARTventure craft book written by Karen Riley of the S.C.R.A.P Gallery. The book retraces their footsteps, projects and everything they learned about the world's continents and cultures. City Council Member Elaine Holmes was on hand to greet the children and their parents on this last leg of their ARTventure.

A special thank you to all who attended the ARTventure graduation including Scott Close, El Paseo Bank and President of the S.C.R.A.P Gallery, as well as fellow CVAC resident artist and teacher Stacy Campbell. The ARTventure Summer Academy was made possible by the City of Indio's Community Outreach program with support of the Indio City Council. Our thanks to the city for sponsoring the ARTventure Academy. ARTventure allowed the children of Indio to participate in a unique program designed to highlight different cultures, art forms, the global environment and make use of their unique personal creativity.
