Edwin Ramoran is an independent curator based in Palm Springs, California, who recently moved from New York City. He is a recipient of the Andy Warhol Curatorial Fellowship and the apexart Residency. His previous positions include Assistant Curator at The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Director and Curator for Longwood Arts Project/Bronx Council on the Arts, Director of Exhibitions and Programs at Aljira, a Center for Contemporary Art in Newark, NJ, and Manager of Public Programs and Community Engagement at The Studio Museum in Harlem. He has been a guest curator at various museums and galleries internationally including the MoMA/P.S.1, Museum of Chinese in the Americas, PERFORMA 05 at Artists Space, Boston Center for the Arts’ Mills Gallery, Center for Book Arts, Dieu Donné, Corridor Gallery, and for Madrid Abierto in Spain and for Art Amsterdam at the Stedelijk Museum CS in The Netherlands.
